The Hawk Eye published information about Officer Dale Wyatt's administration paid leave for attempting to disrupt and steal someone's cell phone from recording. A video surfaced of the incident that prompted the Burlington Police Department to conduct an investigation.

Officer Dale Wyatt, one of the Burlington Police officers involved in illegal police brutality activites, left his body camera turned off
Officer Dale Wyatt, a police officer from the Burlington Iowa Police Department, left his body camera turned off despite police regulations.
This could indicate that he didnt want he and his fellow officer's actions to be recorded and observed. Near the end of the video, he yanks the phone out of the victim's hands as an attempt to shut his first and fourth Amendment rights.
The camera is designed so when the button in the middle is pressed down, the camera automatically records. Seen through the video, Officer Dale Wyatt appears to not have his recorder turned on.
This could indicate that he didnt want he and his fellow officer's actions to be recorded and observed. Near the end of the video, he yanks the phone out of the victim's hands as an attempt to shut his first and fourth Amendment rights.

A video surfaced on YouTube on November 10th of two officers from the Burlington Iowa Police Department conducting illegal activities including police brutality.

When Officer Dale Wyatt asked if there is a problem in the house, the man asked "If there was, does he need to announce a warrant, a name, a badge number." Officer Dale White replied, "No". Multiple times.
The man asked twice, "He does not?" Officer repeated the answer no to him. He then replied as he grabbed a hunk of brush and started crushing it in his hands, "Do you have all the legal knowledge? Look it up." The officer looked as though he was losing his patience and probably wanted to hurt the man recording him.
Officer Dale Wyatt then proceeds in mocking the man then gets into his face.
Officer Dale Wyatt then proceeds in stealing the man's phone and yanks it out of his hand.
According to the Burlington city website, Dale Wyatt was hired to the Burlington Police Department on March 29, 1999.

Illegally parked boat(s) creates blindspot on Divison and South 4 St since 2009;
There had been some small talk on Facebook relating to some boats parked illegally both off and on the street.
The company that owns these boats that are parked illegally is Archer Auto Marine at 308 Division St.
One of the illegal parking laws that was violated is listed in the City Code. According to Burlington City Code 79.02, it states quote,
This means that if a vehicle is driving alongside the street in the right direction, any vehicle parked should be parked facing the direction they are heading. Not only this violates Burlington City Code, it also violates the Code of Iowa in Section 321.361.
In this photo taken in April 2013, it shows clearly that the boats are parked facing the wrong direction.
In this next photo, the boat parked on the left most of the image may also violate another city code law. It is found in the Burlington City Code, which is listed in Chapter 79.11.
The last park that states about no boat or boat trailer shall be parked on the public right-of-way within 25 feet of any street intersection. The boat clearly shows that its parked closer than 25 feet to the stop sign alongside the street of where its located.
Another thing to mention in this photo is the boats that are parked alongside of the street is parked technically on city property.
Not only parking like this is illegal, its also dangerous. By having the view blocked for the driver of the right-of-way on the street
This is a before image taken in 2009 before the boats were placed on this side of the street. Notice the location of the stopsign and the area down and around the sign.
Looking at the more current photo, you can notice the boat on the left most image is extremely close to the stop sign. This can be difficult for the driver to look on their right side to see what cars are coming through.
In this 2009 street view photo made by Google Earth, the angle that is presented is where the driver has to look before he/she would have to go either direction. This shot also shows that the boats are parked illegally by facing the wrong direction when parked.
In this angle, you can clearly see the blindspot the boat creates for the driver that is behind the stop sign in this part of the interaction since 2009.
Which then brings back this current photo of the same area. The boat that was farther down in the 2009 photo was brought up closer to the boat that has the blindspot. This makes conditions much worse for the driver to view and determine the best timing to move out of the general area.
It is not clear whether or not the company had violated any laws pertaining toward parking on the snow route while the city declares a snow-related emergency in which vehicles cannot be parked alongside streets with snow plowing signs.
Any accidents involved in this interaction due to these blindspots can result in a lawsuit toward Archer Auto Marine company.

Thugs break into old Apollo High School building
I stumbled onto a collection of videos recorded created by the user EFFEKTrecords. These particular videos were meant for checking out the school as it was listed to be a 'haunted place'. What did though wasn't legal. Here are links to each of the videos.
After doing some research, the names of the three men that broke into the school are Adam, Blake, and Tevin. Each of them attend the Burlington Community High School.

Now that their names have been discovered, lets now look what the heck they were doing to the building.
What have they accomplished that night?
For some idiotic reason, these men entered the school without permission in the middle of the night. Their small purpose was to find any 'ghost activity' as they have linked an article about the school being haunted. What they mostly done was destroying the property by breaking windows, spray painting areas inside the building, and possibly stealing pieces of property left inside the building.
One of them using a brick to break into one of the windows. They entered through the second floor of the building.
Once the window was broken into, all three of them began entering the opening.

Eventually, they came across a photo, lying in a locker.

One of the men was afraid of getting lost. They memorized one of the rooms they were in, which was 107. They each explored hallways that were full of lockers, rooms, and the auditorium. They found dead birds, as well as junk and graffiti; left by previous intruders.
Written message made by them. The date could be misleading in order to prevent retraced footsteps by authorities. (5/8/2010)
They proceeded onto the upstairs, leading to a room full of switches.

Down the steps, they entered a area full of graffiti. One of them proceeds to make their own mark.

They proceeded into the cafeteria. One of them claimed that he heard of a baby crying. They eventually left, not taking the risk in deciding whether or not it was a pigeon that made the noise.
The three of them entered back into Adam's car.
On a different night, Blake entered the school by himself.
Blake talking to Adam on his cellphone, telling him the news that he is in the building.
He finds a couple of dead birds, including some that were flying around inside the building. He goes down a couple flight of stairs, leading deeper into the school. Throughout the trip, he steps on a lot of glass and junk lying on the floor.
He then explains to Adam, as well as on camera, that he is planning to spray the entire second floor so that he won't get lost again.

The video ends with Blake talking about the place where he heard footsteps earlier and that it occurred at the steps.
Who are these people?
Each of these individuals have a YouTube channel. Blake originally created it and uploaded the footage recently.
Another YouTube channel leads into something different, in music. They use to have a website, but its currently 404'd. They promote their musical skills, doing guitar solos and some techno-related things. They promote it on MySpace, YouTube, and other websites.
Each of them have one thing in common: They are idiotic and careless. This video will show part of their idiocy.
During the trip at the Apollo school, one of them cut themselves with their knife. A couple of them weren't using proper lighting. None of them avoided the glass or walked in a balanced matter. They went around dangerous machinery, climbed up and down warn-out staircases, and even admitted of being lost. They heard noises, which could have been others whom would also enjoy breaking and entering the building as well.
There were many potential factors that could have each of them killed or seriously injured as a result of poor judgement and stupidity. What would they do if one of them got hurt so badly that they aren't able to get out of the school. Would the two of the friends help their friend out or leave him in fear of waiting time and possibly drawing attention from authorities or nearby neighbors?
The strange thing was the fact that not only that the user who uploaded the videos took them down, the person also re-uploaded them and cut out some pieces of film from the original uploads. Here are the dead links to each of the videos. The channel still has some pieces of footage, but not all of them.
